Paradise is a large unincorporated community inside Clark County, not a separate incorporated city, even though it sits in the middle of the Las Vegas valley. If your mail carries a Las Vegas address, that is normal here, and it does not mean you are outside our coverage.

Desert Heat Changes How a Windshield Gets Installed
Summer afternoons across this part of the valley routinely climb past 100 degrees, and that heat affects more than comfort while we work. Urethane adhesive has a real temperature range it needs to cure properly, so on the hottest days we pay closer attention to cure time before you can safely drive again, not less.
A windshield set too fast on a 110-degree afternoon is one we would not want to warranty ourselves. Heat drives crack growth too.
When the inside of the glass sits at cabin temperature and the outside bakes in direct sun, or the reverse happens the moment you run the air conditioning on high, the glass expands and contracts unevenly right at the crack line. That mismatch often turns a short crack into one that runs edge to edge overnight, which is why we would rather look at a small crack sooner than have you wait.
Rock Chips, Dust, and Cracks That Spread on Their Own
Loose gravel kicked up on surface streets and freeway on-ramps is a routine cause of the small, round chips we see most often. Left alone, a chip can sit stable for weeks, or it can spread the first time you hit a pothole, since the flexing of a normal drive is often enough to lengthen an existing crack.
Dust storms add another wrinkle: they build fast in this part of the Southwest, cutting visibility to almost nothing with little warning, and a windshield that is already compromised is the last thing you want between you and blowing dust and debris. Whether a chip is repairable or needs a full replacement usually comes down to size, depth, and location.
A chip smaller than a quarter, away from the edge and outside the driver's line of sight, is usually a good candidate for repair. A crack that has reached the edge, or damage sitting in front of the driver, calls for a full windshield replacement every time.

Camera Calibration Isn't Optional on Newer Vehicles
If your vehicle has a forward-facing safety camera near the mirror, for lane departure or forward collision warning, that camera has to be re-aimed after the windshield it looks through is removed or replaced. Skipping that step is not something we are willing to do, even if the car drives fine leaving the lot, because a camera out of alignment can misjudge distance or miss a lane marking entirely.
We build camera recalibration into the replacement itself, not as an upsell, and we are particular about glass optical quality.
Can you always repair a chip instead of replacing the whole windshield?
No. Size, depth, and location decide that, not preference.
A small chip away from the edge and out of the driver's sightline is usually repairable. Anything larger, closer to the edge, or in the driver's direct view generally needs a full replacement, and we will tell you which applies before we start.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
Not honestly. Glass, adhesive, and calibration needs vary by vehicle, and a number given without seeing the car is a guess.
We will look at the damage, ask about your vehicle's features, and give you a real figure before any work begins.
Do I need camera calibration if my windshield is being replaced?
If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera behind the mirror, yes. We do not treat that step as optional, and we build it into the replacement rather than something you can skip to save money.
