What to expect when you call
Tell us the year, make, and model of the vehicle, whether the damage is a small chip or a full crack, and whether the vehicle has a forward-facing safety camera mounted near the mirror. That last detail matters more than most drivers expect: many newer vehicles rely on a windshield-mounted camera for lane-departure and collision-warning systems, and that camera has to be aimed again once the windshield comes out.
We will ask about it before we quote anything, because it changes both the parts and the time on site. We do not give a firm price over the phone.
Glass type, trim level, camera hardware, and the extent of the damage all change the job, and guessing at a number before we have seen the vehicle or clear photos usually means giving you the wrong one. What we can do on the call is walk through what the job will likely involve and get you scheduled.
Service area
We work throughout North Las Vegas, including areas near I-15, US 95, and Las Vegas Blvd N. If your location sits well outside that range, say so when you call.
We would rather tell you honestly that a same-day mobile visit is not realistic than promise a window we cannot keep. Afternoons here run hot for a large part of the year, and that affects scheduling as much as it affects comfort.
Adhesive used to bond a new windshield needs a workable temperature range to cure properly, and on the hottest days we plan around that instead of rushing a job that needs time to set. If we ask to shift your appointment earlier or later in the day during summer, that is why.
Before you call
A small chip, especially one smaller than a quarter, is often repairable rather than something that needs a full replacement. If yours qualifies, we will say so instead of selling you a replacement you do not need.
If the damage sits directly in the driver's sightline or has already started spreading into a crack, repair usually is not a safe option anymore, and we will explain why replacement is the better call. Have your insurance information ready if you plan to file a glass claim, since it can change how the appointment gets scheduled and paid for.
Reaching us
Most of the people who call us were handed our number by someone who already had windshield work done, rather than finding us cold. If you are calling for the first time, that is fine too.
